Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Aptos Village Park and The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park

Join us for a special annual holiday morning tradition.

In keeping with the tradition, mini pumpkin pies served at the finish for all registered participants.


10K Run & 5K Run/Walk through the redwoods on Thanksgiving.


Thanksgiving morning -  November 26, 2015 9:00 am, FREE Kids Race 8:30 am


The race will begin in Aptos Village Park and will run along the fire road of the beautiful and majestic redwood forest of The Forest of Nisene Marks Park.


Bib Pickup BEFORE race day is strongly encouraged. BIB PICK UP is: Tuesday November 24th 12:00-6:00 pm and November 25th from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports Aptos. Very limited race day pick-up between 7:30-8:00 AM at the race start venue. There is no guarantee of race shirts on race day pick-up. 

All Early Bird and Regular registrants are guaranteed a race shirt. Sizes are first come first serve at bib pick-up. There is no guarantee that Race Day registrants will receive a shirt or their desired size. 


Free parking is provided in the Rancho Del Mar Shopping Center located a short walk from the park. Participants are highly encouraged to carpool and park here. Very limited parking is available along Soquel Drive in Aptos Village. There is NO PARKING allowed in the Aptos Station shopping center. Other businesses are open Thanksgiving morning and parking will be strictly enforced. Thanks for helping us be good neighbors.

  • No roller blades, bikes, scooters or skateboards.
  • Refunds and transfers are not available because all proceeds go to support youth in our community.
  • Strollers and baby joggers are allowed but are required to line up in the rear.
