Pinto Lake is one of Santa Cruz's hidden gems, and we're proud to bring our annual Shamrock Run / Off-Road Ramble 5k & 10k to the trails of this wonderful park. Come join us for an amazing race that features beautiful woodlands, lakeside views, a bagpipe start, and green beer at the finish!
Where: Pinto Lake County Park in Watsonville
When: Sunday, March 12th. The 5K and 10K races start promptly at 9:00 am when the bagpipes sound! The Kids Race starts at 8:30 am
Cost: $35 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k
Online registration closes on March 10th. Race day registration will be available if space remains.
The Shamrock Run / Off-Road Ramble features a rolling 5k loop that starts in the park's main picnic area and follows the trails around the lake's edge, including a section of boardwalk on the lake itself. The 10k runners get to do the loop twice!

There will also be a FREE 1k Kids Race.
Awards & Goodies
The 5k and 10k races will be professionally chip timed, and awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers for each race.
Every participant will receive a technical t-shirt and green beer at the finish!
Packet pick-up at Fleet Feet Aptos on Saturday, March 12th from 11 am - 5 pm. Race morning pick up available as well. T-shirt size not guaranteed race morning.
Proceeds from the Shamrock Run / Off-Road Ramble will go to benefit the Friends of the Santa Cruz County Parks, an organization that provides financial support and assistance to various programs within Santa Cruz County’s recreational parks. Much of the money raised in this race goes to providing swim scholarships to local children.
