JON KNAPP: Jon has worked at Fleet Feet Sports in some capacity since October 2005. He has been at the Fleet Feet in Aptos since January of 2008 and took over the store in January of 2010. His sport of choice is running, but he's also a skilled ice hockey player. Jon also enjoys playing tennis with his wife, Kelli. Jon's hobbies are spending time with his family (sons, Ben and Barret), fixing up his house, reading (mostly biographies) and playing fantasy football. Jon is inspired by Wes Anderson movies, good books and Richard Simmons (per Jon, "it takes a lot of guts to dress like that!"). In his future Jon hopes to run an ultra-marathon.
NAT CLUBB: Part-timer Nat has worked at Fleet Feet since March 2008. As his second job Nat works as a church Minister. Nat's favorite sports include surfing, basketball, and running. Currently he's training for the toughest race of all - life! Nat's wife, Kelly, and daughter, Audrey, are his inspiration. He is also passionate about music and the ocean.
ED MALLEY: Part-timer and Coach, Ed has been with Fleet Feet since March 2009. Ed is also a freelance product brander and enjoys running and playing golf. Ed's current hobbies include photography and cleaning Brannock devices. He's inspired by Buddha and has future aspirations to improve.
RITA MARTINEZ: Part-time staff member Rita has worked for 3 different stores during her tenure with Fleet Feet. She is our resident apparel and sports bra guru and buyer. Her hobbies include tape measures and watching her beloved San Jose Sharks as they attempt to once again lose in the playoffs. Rita also enjoys yoga and has recently gotten back into running.
CECY USSLER: Cecy began working at Fleet Feet in Fall of 2009 and has quickly become a customer favorite. She leads our weekly Tuesday walks and has a thirst for knowledge in all things FIT. Cecy was one of the first female staff members of Outward Bound and loves to kayak and hike. Although a broken sesamoid ended her running career, she still loves to talk about the sport.
Jon's amazing staff is trained in gait analysis and foot biomechanics. Terms such as pronation, plantar fasciitis, arthrodesis, and bunionectomy are as familiar as apple pie. Everyone on staff enjoys helping you achieve a good fit.
Your feet are in good hands!
