Train for the Capitola Half Marathon

Join us for the classic Capitola 13.1 training program.  This 9 week program will get you ready for the beautiful Capitola Half Marathon. (Race registration not included).

All participants will get an effective and well-organized training experience with certified coaches and a whole lotta fun!  Workouts are held Saturday mornings at 8 am at Fleet Feet Sports Aptos, and again on Tuesdays at 6 pm at either Fleet Feet Sports Aptos or at the Aptos High School track, make sure to check out the weekly newsletters to know where we will be meeting each week.  

You will receive a technical tee, coaching at each group workout, educational seminars, and a comprehensive training schedule to prepare you to finish strong!


  • When: March 19 - May 20
  • Where: Fleet Feet Aptos
  • Who: Anyone!  You should be able to run 4 miles with relative ease.  Just completed our 5K/10K training for She Is Beautiful?  This would be perfect for you!
  • Meet Up Dates: Tuesday's at 6pm, Saturday's at 8am
  • Race: She.Is.Beautiful / March 17, 2017 (Yes, St. Patrick's Day!)
  • Cost: $100

Fun Stuff:

  • 9 weeks of instruction on proper form, hydration, nutrition, pacing, injury prevention, race prep and recovery.  
  • Written schedule.
  • Weekly email with instructional information.
  • Instructional and motivational coaching.
  • Electrolyte and water at each workout. 
  • An atmosphere of fun and encouragement.

This group will be open to Run/Walkers, and Runners. We recommend coming into the training being able to run or run/walk 5 miles. For participants under 18, please contact the Half Marathon Coach, Charissa ( before registering. Coaching for each pace group will be provided in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
