PARKING and LOCATION
Run for Pie will begin at 9am from Aptos Village Park and head into Nisene Marks Redwood State Park, with the turnarounds for both distances well marked. Parking for the event will be in the lower section of the Rancho Del Mar Shopping Center at the corner of State Park Drive and Soquel. Street parking along Soquel Drive in Aptos Village also allowed. There is NO Parking allowed in the Aptos Station business parking lot and Epicenter Parking is very limited.
The Run for Pie features an out-and-back course in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, a local gem known for its towering redwoods and beautifully maintained trails. All runs start under the oaks of Aptos Village Park, climb a short hill, and then head into the State Park, where the heat of summer will disappear in the dense patches of trees. All distances take place entirely on paved and dirt fire road.
All races will be professionally chip timed, and awards will be given to the overall male and female winners of each distance.
Every participant will also receive a technical t-shirt, a mini pumpkin pie and entry into the AWESOME RAFFLE!
