Running Foundations


Injury prevention and running/walking efficiency workshop

Running Foundations will help you feel strong, capable, and ready to take on your next race while reducing and preventing stress on your joints. Doug Barsanti of ReInvention Fitness will be teaching this 7-week program starting Thursday June 7th at 8:30am. In this program you will learn how to:
  • Develop good movement habits that can prevent and fix pain and stiffness (especially in your low back and knees)
  • Build coordination to make walking or running more efficient 
  • Reduce fatigue and recover more quickly by learning how to move better
Please bring your own exercise mat - a thicker type Pilates mat will be more comfortable than a thinner yoga mat


  • When: 7 Sundays 6pm –7pm / June 7 - July 19
  • Where: Fleet Feet Aptos
  • Who: All walkers and runners who want to work on injury prevention and running/walking efficiency
  • Cost: $70 — ***$10 discount if participating in another Fleet Feet Racing Club training program
