 Strength Training for Runners

Strength Training For Runners will help build your body to handle the repetitive impact of running. Strength training done the right way will help fix muscle imbalances that can result in overuse injuries and stiffness. Our program will show you how to create a foundation of movement and then strengthen it to become a better runner.
This programs coincides with our Spring 10K Training and Capitola Half Marathon Training so you can run your best race on this Spring!
  • Reduce your risk of injury by developing balanced full body strength
  • Improve your running/walking efficiency by strengthening the right muscles
  • Reduce fatigue and recover more quickly by becoming a stronger runner
Please bring your own exercise mat - a thicker type Pilates mat will be more comfortable than a thinner yoga mat


  • When: March 29- May 17
  • Where: Fleet Feet Aptos
  • Meet Up Dates: Thursday's from 6pm–7pm
  • Cost: $80 ($10 discount if participating in other Fleet Feet training programs)
