If you are looking to learn how to run on a variety of trails, want to meet new trail running friends, and prepare for the Nisene Marks Half Marathon, then check out our Trail Mix 4.0 Group Trail Running Program. Over the course of 8 weeks, we will have 8 supported, coached trail runs increasing in distance and difficulty. , Our coaches and trail support team will help you safely train for trails and the culminating event of the Nisene Marks Half Marathon utilizing mostly the Nisene Marks Forest Park trails. We require that you have at least some experience on the trails before joining this group. Due to time on the trails and safety when groups get too spread out, we are not able to accommodate walkers on the trails in this group. Please NOTE: Group C will be training by time rather than distance. See below.
First Group Workout: Saturday, April 8th 8:00 am at Fleet Feet Sports Aptos

Group workouts are every Saturday at 8:00 am. The group trail runs will be held primarily in Nisene Marks Forest but may utilize other trails as well. Carpooling from Fleet Feet encouraged and if you have a Poppy Pass that is always helpful on the Saturdays we drive in to get more time on the single track.
Because of the "wild" nature of this training, there are a few prerequisites for joining the program:
No refunds after first workout on Saturday April 8th and no exchanges or transfers at any time. No exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
Optional Tuesday Spring Track Workout Add-On
For an additional $25.00 you can add Tuesday night track workouts to your trail running program. Track workouts are at Aptos High and other locations near Fleet Feet Aptos.
