Winter Distance Training Program


Join Coach Jon Knapp for a ten week program designed to get you ready for a mid winter marathon or an early spring 50K.

Workouts will be at various locations including; Nisene Marks, Pogonip, Wilder Ranch and Aptos High School.  This group meet on Sunday mornings at 8am and on Tuesday's at 7pm.  The Sunday workouts are long runs and Tuesday workouts are speed work on the track.

To participate in this program you need to be already running 3 to 4 days per week and have completed at least a half marathon distance or longer run in the past 5 weeks at a pace no more than 11 minutes per mile.

The first workout is October 3oth and will start from Fleet Feet Aptos and head into Nisene Marks park for a 10 mile out and back run up the fire road.  

Cost of program is $100 and  includes: Written training program, twice a week coached workouts, electrolyte and nutrition products for long runs, a technical long sleeve t-shirt, the use of Trigger Point Therapies recovery and massage tools, and a great time!
